2014 — Residential Development
Three homes, built in partnership with Monarch Properties and Telegraph Road Properties, sit on lots previously vacant and/or slated for condemnation. Located within walking distance to downtown, the Wynne Street houses meet the growing demand for density and proximity to the center of Raleigh. With the neighborhood as our "client," the design focuses on three similar but distinct houses - much the same as the patterns of "multiples" adjacent to one another found on the surrounding streets. The front facades were scaled to be congruous with the surrounding houses and include front porches, a key element to a good urban neighborhood fabric.
