Situated on the first floor of a large mixed-use development project, Madre is a dining experience featuring a richly textured material palate and complex spatial layering to transport guests into a distinctly unique atmosphere. Different program areas are tied together through sculptural wall surfaces and grounded with low textile-wrapped seating arrangements that encourage conversation. Dining areas are elevated with warm coffered ceiling planes that also attenuate sound, while the bar brings a scale of intimacy to patrons seated under a cascading lantern-like structure. A rear cluster of restrooms use hidden colored lighting to amplify an air of mystery and intrigue.
