Located in a historic, agrarian setting, this new residence is inspired by the proportions, materials, and massing of the existing structures surrounding it. A central, double height space links the public and private lives of a growing family, while allowing axial views and natural light deep into the compact house. A detached guesthouse and studio will begin construction in 2014.
